Requirements
Make sure you have the following installed on your system:
Git (2.55.0 or newer)
Node.js (v24.20.0 LTS or newer)
Docker/Podman (Optional)
How To Run This Project
- Clone repository
git clone http://URLNAME/bert093/Personal-Nextjs-Project.git
cd Capstone-Project
- Install package/dependency:
npm i # (or bun install)
- Run the development server:
npm run dev
An alternative method if you're comfortable with Docker (docker-compose.yaml)
- Install Docker
If you're using an Arch Linux-based distribution, you can install it directly by running:
Docker
sudo pacman -S docker docker-compose docker-buildx
sudo systemctl enable --now Docker.service # (enable docker service)
sudo usermod -aG docker $USER # (configure user permission)
newgrp docker # (applying changes. MUST RESTART after doing this)
Podman
sudo pacman -S podman podman-compose
systemctl --user enable --now podman.socket # (enable podman socket service)
- Run the docker-compose.yaml
docker compose up -d # (Running in the background)
- See the server
http://localhost:3000
